If we do participate with your health plan, Chiropractic Care is typically covered for acute care, such as for a recent injury or for a condition where treatment offers lasting functional benefit or curative value. Coverage will vary according to your insurance plan. Maintenance chiropractic care is a non-covered entity through insurance and is patient responsibility. All of our other services including Fitness Training, Nutritional Coaching, Weight Loss, & Massage Therapy are a fee-for-service basis and are not covered by health insurance.
Payment and co-payment are due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. All billable services will be submitted to your insurance company. It is possible that your plan may require a referral by your primary physician for chiropractic services to be covered by your insurance plan. Please review your insurance booklet to determine if you need a referral for chiropractic services. If you are not sure, please call our office and we will be glad to assist you in determining if a referral is necessary. We know that insurance coverage can be confusing, as a result we are available to help assist you with any questions that you may have regarding your coverage. You can reach us at (717) 241-9355. Understand that we will do our best to assist you in determining your specifics for your plan, but it is possible that we can receive incorrect information from the insurance company upon verifying your benefits. An insurance plan is an agreement between you, the patient, and the insurance company. Since errors can occur in receiving your specifics from the insurance company, it is the patient’s responsibility to know their insurance plans specific benefit coverage. Therefore, it is advisable that should you have any additional questions regarding your plan to bring your insurance book with you to your initial appointment.
